"I strive to provide quality care for your child/ children. While I was taking my childcare courses, I was an Honor Student, because I feel getting a quality education is a great benefit to your children.
I take great pride in our Black Mountain/ Swannanoa communities. I was PTO Vice-President, then President at W.D. Williams for approximately eight years.
I have done volunteer work for special needs children through Family Support Network at the Olsen Huff Center. This was a very touching experience for me, because I have a grandson I raised with high-functioning autism. I wrote a children's book for my grandson to help with transitions in school called "I Must Be From Another Planet." Ms.Ginger did the illustrations.
I am currently President of Appalachian Angels of WNC, a non-profit group. I served on the Board of Directors for Swannanoa Babe Ruth Youth League.
